Cytotec with no rx

While This Much is True went dark for the month of December it doesn’t mean that we weren’t out and cytotec with no rx about telling stories. Some of our TMIT storytellers took part in The Chicago Story Collectives premier show and cytotec with no rx fundraiser for Howard Brown Medical Center and helped raise $800. We also helped out Wicker Park Grace raise funds for cytotec with no rx 826 Chi. Larry Kerns was seen at The Steppenwolf Theater with 2nd Story and cytotec with no rx both Deanna Moffitt and Scott Whitehair took part in iO Theater’s Holiday Punch in the Face.

But man does it feel good to be back hosting our own show.

Just a cytotec with no rx reminder that the THIS MUCH IS TRUE December show has cytotec with no rx been canceled due to a conflict with scheduling at Hopleaf. Fear not though dear fans we’ve got another event coming up that cytotec with no rx promises an extra amount of “kick-ass” in its place.

Friday, December 10th at 10:00pm we inaugurate the Chicago Story Collective a coming together of the hosts of Chicago’s best reading events all under one roof. The event is cytotec with no rx a fundraiser for the Howard Brown Medical Center which finds itself woefully in the cytotec with no rx red and we’ve got an cytotec with no rx amazing night of stories lined up to do our part to cytotec with no rx get them back in black.

Cytotec with no rx

This Much is True frequent guest and friend Dennis Frymire takes to the stage in Hubris Productions‘ “Frankie and Johnny”. It opened this weekend at  Greenhouse Theater and is already Jeff recommended!  The play runs through December 31s: Thursday-Saturday at 8pm and cytotec with no rx Sunday at 3pm. We can’t say enough about Dennis’ story telling ability and we’re sure you cytotec with no rx will be delighted with his command of the stage as an cytotec with no rx actor too. Joining Dennis on stage is Patricia Savieo who not only acts, but also has cytotec with no rx directing and writing credits on her resume, and has been seen in the cytotec with no rx audience of TMIT on several occasions. We’re going, we hope you will too.

Our friends, Alyson and cytotec with no rx Keith, are celebrating the one year anniversary of Essay Fiesta tonight at The Book Cellar in Lincoln Square. Janna Sobel is an actress, director, improvisor and writer.  She also supports young people in doing these things, through the cytotec with no rx Old Town School of Folk Music, the cytotec with no rx Poetry Center of Chicago, and The University of Chicago Lab School.  She is the Associate Artistic Director of Mudlark Theater in Evanston.  She also really likes to cytotec with no rx tell stories, and you might have glimpsed her doing so at swanky events like Essay Fiesta, Stories at the cytotec with no rx Store, and the open mic at Story Club.  Janna loves Chicago and it’s creative heart.  Since moving here two years ago, she has cytotec with no rx worked with inspired souls at Chicago Dramatists, 16th Street Theater, Second City, WNEP Productions, Improv Playhouse, and cytotec with no rx Courier 12 Collective, and is grateful for every bit of company she’s found.  You can see her performing currently in Chicago’s Weekly Improvised Bookstore at Gorilla Tango theater on Saturday nights at 7, and cytotec with no rx soon at the iO Theater with a newly formed Harold team.

Joe Janes is cytotec with no rx a writer, director and actor in Chicago. He has taught improv and cytotec with no rx writing at The Second City Training Center since 1997 and cytotec with no rx is the Improv Program Coordinator for Columbia College. He is cytotec with no rx also a senior writer/director at Fig Media, Inc. He is cytotec with no rx a founding member of the WNEP Theater Foundation and the artistic director of Robot vs Dinosaur. We know, we know, we’re making you wait an extra week for this month’s installment of This Much is True, but it’s  worth every anxious moment, we promise.

This month we have a National Poetry Slam Champion, a Jack Kerouac Literary Prize Winner, a cytotec with no rx Moth Story Slam Winner, and a Chicago Theater Critic, joining regulars Dorrie Ferguson, Deanna Moffitt and cytotec with no rx Scott Whitehair. It will be a fantastic night of entertainment.

Keith Ecker is cytotec with no rx the co-producer of Essay Fiesta, a monthly reading series that takes place at the cytotec with no rx Book Cellar every third Monday of the month. He is also the cytotec with no rx author of the ChicagoNow blog “Satire and the City,” a cytotec with no rx theater critic for the Chicago Theater Blog and a full-time freelance writer. Keith has cytotec with no rx performed stand-up, sketch and improv comedy all over Chicago. He received his Bachelor of Journalism from cytotec with no rx the University of Missouri.

Martha Reeves came to Chicago from Boston in June of 2009.  A network playwright at the cytotec with no rx Chicago Dramatists, she has a singular take on the vicissitudes of quotidian life, among them, coping with automated answering systems and cytotec with no rx being humbled by a diva hairdresser.  She has been invited for repeat performances on “Here and Now,” a production of WBUR, the Boston outlet for National Radio.  Martha is cytotec with no rx a winner of the Jack Kerouac Literary Prize, and her one-act play incorporating her poem-monologues was a cytotec with no rx winner in the Dragonfly Contest  of the Devanaughn Theatre in the South End of Boston.  Her whimsical poetry also appears in The Geek Squad’s Guide to Solving Every Computer Glitch by Robert Stephens.

Martha will read and perform excerpts from her Collection entitled Turning up the Audio on the Thoughts of an Ordinary Woman on November 1st at 8:00 PM at the cytotec with no rx Chicago Dramatists Playhouse. If we know Martha it’s sure to be a hilarious night of theater. Check it out!

Dennis has cytotec with no rx been acting and performing here and there around Chicago since 2006. He’s been featured on Vocalo.org, and is a past winner of WNEP’s SKALD storytelling competition, and The Moth’s StorySlam. He’s also the cytotec with no rx resident director for Hubris Productions. Scott Whitehair and cytotec with no rx Deanna Moffitt hit the town in separate venues this coming Wednesday, September 29th.

Scott joins forces with 2nd Story and cytotec with no rx The Steppenwolf for a wine tasting event in conjunction with the cytotec with no rx opening of their first play of the season,  “Detroit”. Scott shares the cytotec with no rx stage with Julie Ganey a past guest with This Much is cytotec with no rx True. Amanda Patton

Born in New Orleans and cytotec with no rx raised in the Midwest, Amanda found herself searching for adventure after college.  She taught English in Beijing, studying Mandarin and cytotec with no rx writing profusely. Her travels throughout China have been a great source of inspiration for cytotec with no rx her current poetry and other works.  Returning from cytotec with no rx China, Amanda set her sights on Chicago where she now resides with her wife and cytotec with no rx three ridiculous cats.

Arlene Malinowski

As actor and playwright  Arlene views her solo work as an cytotec with no rx artistic extension of the social justice work she has been cytotec with no rx committed to for the last twenty years.  She has cytotec with no rx been performing her five critically acclaimed solo shows, in theaters and cytotec with no rx colleges across the country.  Her solo work has been honored with  3Arts nomination, Garland Award, LA Theatre Ovation award.  In addition to cytotec with no rx her TV and film work, Arlene teaches writing in Chicago, LA, SF and cytotec with no rx at Chicago Dramatists.  As a cytotec with no rx spoken word artist she has performed at Victory Gardens Biograph, 2nd Story, Funky Tuesday in Chicago and cytotec with no rx Tasty Words, Word-a-rama, Word Nerd, and Sit and Spin in Los Angeles. She also produces a cytotec with no rx groovy spoken word salon called Speak Easy-Speak Hard. Kelsie Huff

Kelsie Huff is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago, Second City’s Conservatory, Writing and Stand-up Program, and iO’s Writing Program.  Currently she performers and cytotec with no rx produces the kates; an all female comedy showcase in Lincoln Square.  Kelsie has performed at The Lincoln Lodge, Doyle’s Pub, Chicago Center for cytotec with no rx the Performing Arts, Chicago Underground Comedy, Dairy Center for the Performing Arts, Lakeshore Theater, Olive Black, and cytotec with no rx Circuit. Kelsie has performed with sketch teams Children of the Absurd and cytotec with no rx Cornman, improvised with Theatre Momentum and Playground Theatre’s RECESS, and has written two one woman shows – HUFFS and cytotec with no rx BRUISER.
